Welcome to
New Holland Borough
Taxes
Real Estate taxes are based on the current assessed value of your property multiplied by the current millage rate. The Borough’s millage rate for 2022 is 3.25 mills. For example, if the assessed value of your property is $100,000, your Borough real estate taxes would be $325. The millage rate is determined by Borough Council and adopted by Ordinance as part of the Borough’s budget by December 31st of each year. Your tax dollars help support 24-hour police services, the local fire department, street lighting, public works department services, parks/recreation and general operating expenses.
Starting in 2022, Real Estate taxes will be mailed and collected by the Lancaster County Treasurer’s Office. You can either mail your payment into them or pay it in person at any Lancaster County Fulton Bank.
Questions regarding Eastern Lancaster County School District taxes should be directed to ELANCO’s Tax Office at (717) 569-4521.
