Taxes

Notice of Budget Availability–2018

Real Estate taxes are based on the current assessed value of your property multiplied by the current millage rate. The Borough’s millage rate for 2018 is 2.75 mills. For example, if the assessed value of your property is $100,000, your Borough real estate taxes would be $275. The millage rate is determined by Borough Council and adopted by Ordinance as part of the Borough’s budget by December 31st of each year. Your tax dollars help support 24-hour police services, the local fire department, street lighting, public works department services, parks/recreation and general operating expenses.

J. Richard Fulcher is the elected tax collector for New Holland Borough. Tax payments should be mailed to:

New Holland real estate tax bills are mailed in February of each year. A 2% discount is given if they are paid by April 30; the base amount is due by June 30; and a penalty applies to payments post-marked after June 30. If your taxes are paid by your mortgage company, it is your responsibility to forward your tax notice to them.
